The H2EXPO & CONFERENCE, in conjunction with WindEnergy Hamburg, provides us with a perfect platform to present and discuss our technologies – this is where everything converges. Combined with the superbly designed conference programme, this event is a big step forward on our way towards zero-emission, hydrogen-based mobility.

By producing and distributing clean hydrogen energy solutions for use in heavy-duty fuel cell vehicles, industrial applications and energy storage, Air Products will help support the hydrogen energy transition, minimising carbon emissions and reducing reliance on finite energy resources. Kawasaki has been active in hydrogen technologies for many years. Our unique technology portfolio, defined by the Kawasaki Hydrogen Road, covers the entire value chain of green hydrogen. We want to establish Japanese technology on the German and European markets. The H2EXPO & CONFERENCE provides us with an excellent opportunity to do so.

Since its establishment NOW GmbH has been advocating the visibility and acceptance of hydrogen technology, coordinating numerous support programmes of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport, such as the National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Programme (NIP). We need lots of offshore and onshore wind to speed up hydrogen production and the combination of WindEnergy and H2EXPO & CONFERENCE led to an even higher number of qualified participants than we expected. And we had visits from key government leaders like the Turkish Minister of Energy. Coming to the point: We are very happy with the results of the H2EXPO & CONFERENCE.

Here in Hamburg we can clearly see the highly dynamic development the hydrogen industry is undergoing. We have used the stage of the H2EXPO & CONFERENCE to present our PEM electrolysers, and the subsequent conversations with industry visitors have clearly shown that together, and in the right economic conditions, it is possible to implement an efficient, economical and scalable energy transition. Events such as this are essential for bringing this potential to the markets.

This year we will be returning to the H2EXPO & CONFERENCE in Hamburg to run our next high-level thought leaders forum, with panels ranging over key issues from finance, gigascale renewables-powered H2 mega-projects, and electolyser manufacturing supply chains.
